First of all, nominated by any guide, the museum dedicated to the Napoleonic Cimelles, just few minutes away from our resort, Baia Bianca Suites. Villa dei Mulini is the other location correlated to Napoleon, also this one not to be missed.
Portoferraio is the village that more than any other in this island of Tuscany offers a wide range of possibilities, such as the Foresiana Pinacoteca, Medicea Fortifications, Roman Villa of the Caves, Garden of the Ottomans and the Open-Air Museum. Among the archaeological museums we also recommend the one of Marciana Marina.
The life of ancient peasants is well represented by the site "Agricolo Sapere", while the regional tradition related to the mining world is witnessed by the sites of Porto Azzurro, Rio Marina (with an interesting geo-mining route) and Rio nell'Elba (here you can find two small and special museums in Tuscany).
